Gail Sumner is a fully chartered and state registered physiotherapist. She qualified from Leeds University in 1998 with a BHSc honours degree in Physiotherapy, after which she worked at the Royal Bolton Hospital Physiotherapy Department. The latter part of which was spent working in the musculoskeletal / orthopaedic field based in the community.

Gail is keen to continue her professional development, and has completed training in a variety of fields to equip her with proven techniques to provide effective diagnosis and treatment.

Gail is the Perrin Technique™ Licensed practitioner for Bolton, a registered acupuncturist, craniosacral therapist, massage therapist, sports massage therapist and reflex therapist.

In addition Gail has trained in other ‘hands on’ therapies as well as counselling and has developed her knowledge in diet, nutrition and body – mind work; from which she offers an integrated approach to health and recovery.

Gail’s interests lie in sport, having been a keen participator in sport and having represented at the levels of club, county and North West of England.

Her other interests lie within the field of integrated medicine and health. This stems from Gail’s own experience of many different treatment approaches, such as; craniosacral therapy, reiki, food allergy testing, reflexology, aromatherapy, hypnotherapy, Indian head massage, bach flower remedies, counselling, energy practitioners, homeopathy, herbal medicine, physiotherapy, yoga, diet, nutrition, NLP, acupuncture, osteopathy and kinesiology. This has been in addition to conventional medical intervention through doctors, medical specialists, dentists and opticians.

ME / CFS, fibromyalgia and other associated chronic pain conditions are another field of particular interest to the practitioner.
